10 Day Tanzania Cultural and Wildlife Safari in Tanzania
In the 10 days Tanzania cultural and wildlife safari offers the opportunity to dive into Tanzanian wildlife yet at the same time learning and experiencing the culture of the inhabitants of two of the Tanzania towns; Moshi and Arusha
Day 1: Moshi Community and Cultural Tour
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport, our tour guide will meet you to start off you Tanzania cultural and wildlife safari. He will give you a brief background about Moshi town regarding religion and history of the East African railway as he transfers you to the restaurant for breakfast or a mid-morning brunch. It is after this that he will take you for a Maasai cultural tour. He will then transfer you to Impala Hotel where you will be spending your first Arusha night.
Day 2: You will wake up to breakfast at Impala hotel after which you will have your lunch packed before you set off for your game viewing around Ngurdoto crater and Momella. In the afternoon, you will have lunch at the picnic site and later in the evening, you will transfer back to the Impala Hotel.
Day 3: Drive to Tarangire National Park
Set off from Impala Hotel in Arusha and transfer to Tarangire National Park. Lunch will be had at a picnic site. You will have a game drive with some game viewing in Tarangire national park after which you will transfer to Burunge Tented camp where you will have your dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park
Depart after breakfast from Burunge tented camp for Lake Manyara National Park. The main highlight will be to spot African elephants and tree-climbing lions. It is also a good hub for birds at the lake’s shores. After lunch, you will transfer to Ngorongoro Farm House in the evening for your dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Depart after breakfast for Serengeti national park via Ngorongoro crater. After the Ngorongoro crater, you will continue into Serengeti national park for game viewing. You will be offered a picnic lunch after which you will continue with your Serengeti adventure after which you will transfer Serengeti Kati Kati Camp where you will check-in, have dinner and also spend the night there.
Day 6: Serengeti Exploration
You will have breakfast at Serengeti Kati Kati Camp after which you will set off for another game drive in Serengeti national park. You will have a picnic lunch in the afternoon after which you will set off for another game drive in the afternoon before transferring to Serengeti Kati Kati Camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Ndutu Plains in Serengeti National park
You will have the morning to rest until lunchtime, later visit Ndutu plains which are the main habitation for the herbivores that make the Serengeti great migration possible. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati Camp or Ndutu Safari Lodge.
Day 8: Full Day in The Wild
After your early morning breakfast, you will set out for an early morning game drive in the Lake Ndutu grasslands. You will have a picnic lunch after which you will continue with a game drive, dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ndutu Safari Lodge.
Day 9: Game drive, Depart for Arusha.
Depart from Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ndutu Safari Lodge after breakfast for Ngorongoro crater to spot a wide variety of Tanzanian wildlife species. You will have a picnic lunch and an afternoon stretch after which you will transfer to Impala Hotel in Arusha.
Day 10: Arusha Via Via Cultural Tour and Airport Transfer
After having breakfast at Impala Hotel; you will set off for Arusha Via Via cultural tours where you will spend your early morning, visit local arts and craft markets, lunch and transfer to Kilimanjaro international airport where the tour ends.
